Job ResponsibilitiesAbout Whitten Regional Center Whitten Regional Center is a residential facility of the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs located in Clinton, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job Responsibilities This position coordinates/supervises/performs and evaluates activities relating to infection control and employee health in all aspects of service affecting individuals and employees of DDSN Whitten Center.
Provides guidance and instruction to employees to ensure compliance with CDC, DHEC, & OSHA regulations as well as DDSN policies relative to communicable disease and infection control.
Provides leadership and assists in maintaining daily nursing operation.

Coordinates employee health functions.
2.
Provides training and coordination for all aspects of infection control and practices as relates to SC DDSN directives and State/Federal regulations.
3.
Acts as a healthcare liaison with the human resource department.
4.
Participates in the staff development process including the orientation of new employees by teaching/coordinating infection control practices and health care awareness.
5.
Performs and participates in outcome activities as otherwise assigned by the supervisor.

00 Sign-On Bonus Available! The salary range for this position is $77,500 to $85,543 and will be based on verified work-related nursing experience as indicated on the candidate's application.
This position is eligible for up to $6.
25/hour shift differential for applicable shifts! Sign-on bonus for eligible candidates will be distributed after one, six, and twelve months of successful continuous Full-Time employment.
